The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, said that the cabinet’s decision yesterday, Tuesday, February 4, to establish (11) cultural bodies that elevate societal culture and contribute to promoting paths of sustainable economic growth and the expected positive impact in the quality of life program It highlights the Kingdom's cultural standing at the regional and international levels, and is in harmony with the strategy for diversification of national income sources.​

​Al-Khaldi emphasized that the establishment of such entities and granting them financial independence and legal status makes them able to reorganize this vital sector, and to ensure the quality and effectiveness of its outputs, and to develop it in an optimal way to align with the Kingdom's large and diverse cultural and heritage components, which supports its optimal use of the development strategy The comprehensive pursuit of the state and strengthens the historical position of the Kingdom in the global human conscience​.

He explained that the decision supports, on the one hand, the development of the sector and the enhancement of its ability to keep up with the aspirations of the vision and its goals, and on the other hand confirms the extent of awareness and government awareness of the civilizational and economic dimensions of the cultural sector and that is considered one of the expressive sectors civilized, attractive and social, and rich in promising investment opportunities, especially a multidisciplinary sector​.

Al-Khaldi pointed out that the cultural sector is one of the cross-sectoral patterns and has its social and economic dimensions. It reveals and stimulates creative and artistic capabilities among all elements of society, and supports the presence of its cultural and cultural components on the regional and global scene and thus contributes directly to attracting and settling global investments, pointing out that the decision confirms the extent of the government's interest in the idea of comprehensive development and optimal utilization of all components of the state, confirming its complete confidence in the Kingdom's ability to implement its goals in diversifying the economic base and its ability to activate and motivate all sectors in the country​.
